IMS/SAMARK Ink Roller Replacement Instructions Step 1. To change the IMS/SAMARK ink roller, squeeze and hold the handle which will roll the ink roller assembly out the front of the labeler. Step 2. Hold the ink roller assembly by it's sides and release the handle. Step 3. Locate the old ink roller at end of holder. Take note (as illustrated in diagram) that the ink roller is held in place in a groove. Step 4.; Remove the old ink roller by sliding roller sideways off the holder following the grooves. Do not try to "twist" or "snap" off as this will result in non-warranty damage to holder sub-assembly. Step 5. Attach a new SOPB1 ink roller in the same way you removed the old one. Slide gently along grooves until the ink roller edges & the edges of the sub-assembly are flush. Step 6. Release the ink roller assembly and it's spring tension will bring it back into place inside the labeler. Step 7. Carefully activate handle a few times & observe to be sure ink roller assembly is functioning properly.
